This Story is Mine and Ours

Poets, musicians, story tellers & performance artists are invited to present an original piece inspired by the word BLACK at an Open Mic Night. The word BLACK which, although it is seen as a single color, comes in many shades, hues, and tones. It is the intersection where a color meets an identity. It is also a way to describe my people, our history, and our unique challenges. On July 30th we will be creating space for stories to be told and a platform where voices can be heard.
